Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Juche TV website, live streams, publications archive, video-on-demand service and EPG API (together, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1Who we are

The Service is operated by Juche TV, an independent media-preservation project located in Myanmar. All television channels and radio streams — including Korean Central Television (KCTV), Korean Central Broadcasting Station (KCBS) and Voice of Korea (VOK) — are provided by KoryoFront, a professional organisation based in South Africa dedicated to North Korean content. The KCTV electronic programme guide (EPG) is produced jointly by KoryoFront and Juche TV as part of joint operations.

2Content ownership

All broadcast content carried by the Service — television programmes, radio broadcasts, publications, logos and related materials — remains the property of its respective owners, including the original DPRK broadcasters and publishers. Juche TV and KoryoFront claim no ownership of underlying broadcast content. The streaming infrastructure, compilations, translations and EPG data produced through the KoryoFront × Juche TV joint operation are owned by Juche TV / Bloxy Play Comprehensive Channel and KoryoFront.

3Permitted use

You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes, including:

• Watching and listening to live streams and on-demand content;
• Reading and downloading publications for personal study, research, journalism or teaching;
• Querying the EPG API within reasonable limits (see Section 5);
• Sharing links to the Service, with attribution.

4Prohibited use

You may not:

• Re-stream, rebroadcast, re-host or commercially redistribute the streams or any substantial portion of the Service without written permission;
• Claim or imply affiliation with, or endorsement by, Juche TV, KoryoFront, or any DPRK broadcaster or state organ;
• Scrape, crawl or bulk-download the Service in a way that imposes an unreasonable load, except through the documented EPG API;
• Remove, obscure or alter ownership, attribution or preservation notices;
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of sanctions or export-control laws applicable to you;
• Interfere with, probe or disrupt the Service, its servers, or the reception infrastructure operated by KoryoFront;
• Present EPG data, publications or broadcast content in a misleading or deliberately falsified form.

5EPG API terms

The public EPG API (for example, https://juche-tv-epg-api.vercel.app/api/bloxyplaytv?ch=KCTV&date=2026-08-17) is provided free of charge for reasonable use, subject to the following:

• Attribution. Public reuse of EPG data must credit "EPG: KoryoFront × Juche TV".
• Rate limits. Do not exceed reasonable request volumes; we may throttle or block abusive traffic without notice.
• No warranty. Schedules are compiled in Pyongyang time and may change, be delayed, or contain errors. The API may be modified, suspended or withdrawn at any time.
• No resale. You may not sell access to the EPG data as a standalone commercial product.

6Publications

DPRK magazines, newspapers and periodicals are provided as published, for preservation, research and personal reading. Copyright in these works remains with their original publishers. You may download copies for personal, non-commercial use; wider redistribution is at your own risk and responsibility.

7Availability

The Service depends on live reception sites operated by KoryoFront. Broadcasts may be interrupted by weather, power outages, equipment failure or upstream broadcast changes. We announce known outages on the homepage notice banner, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of any channel, stream, publication or API endpoint.

8Accuracy

Programme schedules, translations and archival metadata are provided in good faith but may be incomplete or inaccurate. Broadcast times are given in Pyongyang time (UTC+9). The Service is not an official source of any broadcaster's schedule.

9Third-party services and links

The Service uses third-party infrastructure (including hosting, font and image delivery, and the Vercel-hosted EPG API). We are not responsible for the content, policies or availability of third-party services, and their own terms apply to your use of them.

10Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability or accuracy. Views expressed in broadcast content are those of the original broadcasters and publishers, not of Juche TV or KoryoFront.

11Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Juche TV, KoryoFront and their operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of — or inability to use — the Service.

12Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, where Juche TV is located, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Myanmar.

14General

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the EULA, constitute the entire agreement between you and Juche TV regarding the Service.
